Tableau, LOMO LC-A+. Expired Fuji Superial Reala 100 film. This roll of film sat in my freezer for several years before being shot in my LOMO LC-A+ last year, then it sat in the bottom of my 6 Million Dollar bag for a few more months after that. As a result, I have NO CLUE as to where I shot this. Anyone recognize the place? Possibly Related Posts: Originally posted on poindexter, who? |

Hollywood sign, Space Needle and Mt. Rainier all in one.
This is a photoshopped image I worked on. I visited both Seattle and Los Angeles during the same weekend. |

| photo challenge - landmark |

My landmark entry is offered with some irony:
The Forrester Viaduct is a notorious landmark of sorts in the West Bottoms of KCMO. It is the only by-pass for the train tracks on the Missouri side of the bottoms and was previously known to be the single worse strip of road in the state reputed to have the worst roads in the continuous states...
A month ago, a road crew began tearing off the old concrete and pavement and will rebuild the viaduct on it's remaining infrastructure. It will likely be a three year project. The image above shows the beginning infrastructure at the opening mouth of the by-pass. The new one will extend two more lots closer to me building, which was four lots over my shoulder when I took the shot.
If I don't miss the daily 6:30am train, I will lose five to ten minutes everyday on the way into work for the next three years.
*sigh*
I look forward to the new viaduct.

The Fountain Hills, AZ Fountain. It is a landmark in my town because it is the World's largest continuously running fountain. (There are two larger fountains, but they only go up a few times a year.) This fountain runs every hour for fifteen minutes from morning until night. At the St. Patrick's Day Fair, they turn it green at noon and five - and then once again at noon on St. Patrick's Day. |
